Fully managed WordPress and WooCommerce hosting on Hetzner (EU), DigitalOcean (US), or Vultr (US/AU). Trellis stack: Nginx, Redis, PHP 8.3, WooCommerce-optimized caching, daily backups, and full server management — including WordPress core and plugin updates. From €49/month.
What’s Included
A Modern Hosting Stack, Fully Managed
Every plan runs on the same production Trellis stack we use for Imagewize.com — Nginx, Redis, PHP 8.3, Bedrock, WooCommerce-tuned caching, and daily encrypted backups. No shared servers, no overselling.
Nginx + FastCGI Caching
Nginx with FastCGI micro-caching and HTTP/2 delivers sub-second server response times. Redis object cache keeps database queries off the hot path. Ask about performance →
Security Hardening
fail2ban intrusion prevention, automatic OS security updates, Let’s Encrypt SSL with auto-renewal, and Nginx-level IP deny lists. Malicious bots blocked at the server before they hit WordPress. Security questions →
Daily Encrypted Backups
Automated daily database and file backups with configurable retention (7, 14, or 30 days). Offsite storage. Point-in-time restore — we can roll back your site to any backup in minutes. Backup policy →
Modern Stack: Bedrock + PHP 8.3
Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, PHP 8.3, MariaDB 11, Nginx, and Bedrock’s secure directory structure. Composer-managed dependencies, environment-specific configs, and Ansible-provisioned — no cowboy deploys. Stack details →
Managed WordPress & WooCommerce Updates
We handle WordPress core, WooCommerce, plugin, and theme updates on a scheduled basis — tested on staging before applying to production. No surprise breakage from auto-updates on your live store. Update policy →
Data Centers in EU, US & Australia
EU customers run on Hetzner’s German data centers — GDPR-compliant, NVMe SSDs, low latency for European visitors. US and Australian customers are hosted on DigitalOcean or Vultr, chosen for regional performance and reliability. We pick the right provider for your geography. Ask about your region →

How We Compare to Kinsta and WP Engine
Both are solid platforms. But they’re built for generic managed WordPress. We’re built for WooCommerce stores, developers who want a real stack, and clients who want to talk to the person running their server.
Kinsta / WP Engine
- Google Cloud / AWS — fast, but expensive
- Generic WordPress stack, no Bedrock support
- Ticket-based support with first-line screening
- Oversold shared infrastructure on lower tiers
- From $35–$290/month
Imagewize Managed Hosting
- Hetzner NVMe — half the cost of AWS, same or better TTFB
- Trellis + Bedrock — reproducible, developer-grade stack
- You reach the engineer who provisioned your server
- Dedicated VPS — your resources, not shared
- From €49/month
Not the cheapest option on the market — intentionally. We’re the right option for sites where performance and reliability actually matter.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is managed WordPress hosting?
Managed WordPress hosting means we handle everything outside of your WordPress admin: server provisioning, OS security updates, Nginx and PHP-FPM configuration, SSL certificates, daily backups, and WordPress core and plugin updates. You focus on your site and business — we handle the infrastructure. Our stack is built on Trellis and Bedrock, running on dedicated VPS instances at Hetzner (EU), DigitalOcean, or Vultr.
Is your hosting optimized for WooCommerce?
Yes. WooCommerce requires specific caching configuration — cart and checkout pages cannot be served from a full-page cache, but product pages can and should be. We configure FastCGI caching with WooCommerce exclusions baked in, Redis object caching tuned for WC session handling, and PHP-FPM pools sized to handle WooCommerce’s heavier query load. We also handle WooCommerce plugin updates as part of the managed plan — tested on staging first so your live store isn’t the guinea pig.
Which hosting provider do you use — and why?
It depends on where your visitors are. For EU clients we use Hetzner — German data centers, GDPR-compliant, NVMe SSDs at roughly half the cost of equivalent AWS tiers, and infrastructure we’ve trusted since 2017. For US and Australian clients we use DigitalOcean or Vultr, chosen for regional performance and reliability. Same Trellis stack and management either way — we just pick the provider that puts your server closest to your audience.
Do you handle the migration from my current host?
Yes — migration is included free with every plan. We export your database and files, provision the new Trellis server, import everything, run a full check on staging, then handle the DNS cutover. We schedule the DNS switch during your site’s lowest-traffic window to keep any interruption under a minute. We’ve migrated sites from WP Engine, Kinsta, SiteGround, Cloudways, and bare VPS setups.
What does “fully managed” actually mean?
We handle: OS security patching, Nginx and PHP-FPM configuration, Let’s Encrypt SSL renewal, daily backup verification, server monitoring, and WordPress core and plugin updates (tested on staging first). You never need to SSH into the server. If something breaks at the infrastructure level, we fix it — it’s not your problem.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately — we resize the server and migrate your data with no downtime. Downgrades apply at the start of your next billing cycle. Custom plans with dedicated CPU, more RAM, or additional storage are also available — contact us to discuss your requirements.
